Harley-Run-& Backhendl-Weekend!

Einmal im Jahr treffen sich tausende Harley-Fahrer zur "European-Bike-Week" am wunderschön gelegenen Faakersee. Zum Fest der "Nobel-Hobel" kommen die Biker aus ganz Europa angereist und verbringen ein paar entspannte Tage in meiner Heimat. Der Höhepunkt findet immer am Samstag statt, wenn so an die 10.000 Harleys das kleine Kärnten zum beben bringen. Das wollte ich sehen!
Ich habe keine Harley, sondern eine Yamaha. Mit der fuhr ich zum Ossiachersee, dessen Umrundung heuer am Tourprogramm stand. Du kannst die nebenstehenden Bilder durchklicken. Es war einfach geil!

Derzeit laufe ich wieder mehr, allerdings very different. This has something to do with my constitution, which currently is also a little erratic. I struggled on Wednesday over ten kilometers, so I laid today - on my favorite track - towards a good time. Takes you around the Längsee is very hilly, incredibly demanding and a scenic delight. The nearly 22 kilometers and about 300 meters I completed in 2:02 and was very satisfied.

Always on the second Sunday in September, there is in the area in which I am now running, the fried chicken hard . The farmers and restaurateurs are offering excellent fried chicken at the feast. Thousands made the pilgrimage in glorious weather to one of the companies that have joined forces. After I recently burned more than 1,500 calories, I got myself a chicken, and (at least) a beer at Brunnerhof can taste good ....!
