The current year is ending and a little review is allowed.
of scale, I have completed about the same amount of miles, as before in that. Due to the fact that I will still run a few miles, I get to end, this to 2,200 km per year (at 28,000 meters). After I paused this year but six weeks (sick or broken toe), the power went overflowed per week to over 45 KM. So much for some numbers!

Since I live in a very beautiful and scenically diverse area, are also my running routes accordingly. This means less trips in the lowlands (we have barely), but always in forests, around several lakes and in areas that make your heart beat faster. That is one reason why I will never wear when walking music (which I like otherwise) in the ears. I want to smell feel the environment, and experience. With all your senses!

My "Running Trophies!

Competitions: 2009 is not to beat! When I was in the previous year 60 and so began a new age class, I really "let out the pig" and I enjoyed it to the fullest, to stand back and again at the podium. The highlight NYC Marathon I have at this point has already been described several times and will never be deleted from my memory. This year there were only four contests, so little as never before. But I do not care, it fits just not easy. Point!

What goals are there? For next year, but tingles a bit. I plan to run two marathons. A (to Standortberstimmung) once again in Vienna (April) and the runner climax should Berlin will (September), where I is yes still a score to settle "had, which I will describe in more detail at a later date. Contrary to my other philosophy that is again a "da capo" with known distances. What else is ever so I will sometimes open. These two challenges mean for an old man eh enough work ...!

The past year also brought changes. Not only I've moved a lot, but I myself have a lot of moves and professionally achieved more than I had ever expected. With a good feeling so I took my leave in October in the pension, but which increasingly became a "half board", as my knowledge is in demand even in a high degree. So there are a lot of variety in my life. But, be calm was never my thing anyway ...!
